THREE
EASY WAYS TO JUDGE WHETHER YOU ARE OVER-WEIGHT?
METHOD I: It’s very simple
just stand erect and then bring your head down,
don’t bend forward, if you can’t
see your toes you need to lose weight. |
METHOD II: Supposing you are 6 feet
tall. 1 foot has 12 inches so 6x12 = 72 inches. For
men it should be (plus or minus) 5% of the figure that
comes after converting the feet into inches,
so the ideal weight should be between (69 - 75 kgs) for
a man who is 6 feet tall. For women it’s
strictly -20% (height in inches minus 20%) so
for a woman who is 6 feet tall her ideal weight should
be 58.5 kgs. |
METHOD III: Dr. K.K Aggarwal, a Cardiologist
offers a simpler formula
Men should have a waist size of lesser than 36
inches*.
Women should have a waist size of lesser than
32 inches*. |
| *anybody having higher figures may be at a greater risk
of developing Diabetes or Heart Problems. |
