MY STORY:
HOW I REDUCED 12.8 Kgs WEIGHT AND BROUGHT MY BODY FAT PERCENTAGE
FROM 24% DOWN TO 16%.
I wanted to lose weight because of the Chronic
Lower Back Pain as my Doctor had advised me to
lose weight (to reduce pressure on my Lower Back) Hence
as a first step I tried dieting (living
off Salads)but developed severe Gastric
Troubles, so I had to give up.
I had often seen a Gentleman distributing flyers about
some Weight-Loss products in Nehru Place (where I own
an office) I had kept one of his flyer, I decided to give
him a call, he came and explained to me ‘How
simple the use of these products was’ and put me
on a Meal-Replacement Shake Mix.
I also designed 5 exercises for myself aimed at giving
me a Complete Body Workout. I must admit that my Experience
of working as a ‘Coach’ in a local Gym during
my College days came in handy here.
I am 5 feet 11 inches tall (Born 1968)
when I started on 30-12-2005 my weight was 87.8
Kgs and my Body Fat Percentage was 24% (25% is Obese)
by 17-5-2006 my weight had come down to 75.0 Kgs and to
Everyone’s amazement my Body Fat Percentage had
come down to 16%. I must attribute this to the
Colorado State University (U.S.A) Study by Dr
Christopher Melby [Excerpts quoted on this website,
Don’t forget to read it] which found that Anaerobic
(Resistance Training) form of Exercise burns 500% more
Fat than Aerobic Exercise (Brisk Walk, Aerobics etc).
I also read numerous researches on the Internet that
have proven that if we combine “Diet Control”
(Meal-Replacement has been proven Superior)
with “Exercise” we can, not only lose weight,
but we can also bring our Body Fat Percentage down (which
is more important)
Exercise is also known as the biggest ‘Stress
Buster’ and ‘Immunity Booster’.
I am happy that today my weight
has stabilized at 75.0 Kgs. I take my Instant
Energy Shake Mix everyday (to maintain my weight) and
do these 5 Exercises everyday. Of course I have
made some permanent life style changes by adopting healthy
food habits (Junk Food is only an occasional indulgence
now) thanks to my present Lifestyle my Lower Back pain
is gone, another problem that I had was ‘Allergic
Rhinitis’ even its bouts are only occasional
now, that too not as severe as earlier.
My own success with weight loss impressed me so much
that I decided to take up Wellness (fitness of
both body and mind) as an alternative profession.
I met peoples from diverse fields and from all walks
of life promoting Wellness

an opportunity to contribute in my own little way to my
MOTHER LAND.
